CLARENTIA PRAMETA, S.Pd, Dip.Mus

Soprano

Born in 1987, Clarentia Prameta begins her journey in music early by studying piano at Yayasan Pendidikan Musik (YPM) with Surtikaryani Muktidarmi until graduated from PK-3 in 2003.

After participating in her high school choir, Ursula Canisius Voice, under the direction of Florian Hutagalung, Adji Kasyono, and Benny Manumpil, an interest in classical singing sparked. Clarentia made her debut as a soloist in "A Musical Moment - Concert and Tour" (2005) with Twilite Chorus across five big cities in Indonesia, and joined several other choirs such as Terra Voce and Gita Swara Jaya (Atmajaya).

She took intensive vocal study under the hands of Joseph Kristanto Pantioso, Dip.Mus. in 2007, and since, she actively performs as soloist in concerts such as Grieg Recital (2010), Magnificat - John Rutter (2011), Tembang Puitik Trisutji Kamal (2011), was chosen as guest soloist in "New Year's Concert with Principals of Symphonia Vienna Orchestra" (2012), and successfully held recitals on her own, including "Clarentia" (2013 and "Cerita Dari Wina" (2016). She also passionately attends masterclasses, including actively participated in the masterclass of Emily Good Perkins, Bettina Jensen, and Bernadeta Astari.

In July 2012, she is accepted at Vienna Conservatory of Music, Austria for a classical vocal performance and studies under the tutelage of Maria Loidl until she graduated in 2019.

As soon as she comes back to Indonesia, she built Bina Musik Jakarta with Julius Firdaus, and is the current headmaster.
